Damn Coyote Chris is a Northern Alberta based Singer-Songwriter who mixes influences to create a sound that can be described as “Classic Alt Country Blues-Rock”
His debut album Departures is set to be released July 7 2025 and is preceeded by
singles: Bethy’s Gift (June 1 2025), Destination Funeral (June 15 2025), and S.O.L. (July 1 2025).
Haunting the Western Canadian Music scene since 1992, Damn Coyote Chris has appeared on numerous projects crossing multiple genres from Punk and Hardcore shows where mosh pits were commonplace to Musical Theatre with sold out crowds
and standing ovations.
Departures is exactly that: A Departure from Chris’ standard fare. It evokes a spectrum of emotions: intimate, sentimental, sarcastic, and charming. Sprinkled with sticky melodies and Practical Philosophies.
